👩🏽💻🎅🏽 Yes, even Santa is going digital !
This year, I have been very nice 😇😇. What about you?
And to increase my chance of receiving great gifts, I decided to create a very different wish letter to Santa this year. Check it out here : https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/461531540
Today's challenge is to digitize your own letter to Santa using Scratch.
Here are some tips to get you started :
Connect to Scratch online or download the offline version.
Write your letter on paper first. I am sure you have lots of ideas on what to request 😊
Identify which part can be fun to animate and look for images or even draw your own sprites using Scratch (or any other digital painting like tool🎨🖌)
Select a background. I used an old paper sheet image but you can surely imagine a cooler way to write to Santa !? Be creative to increase your chance of getting a lot of presents !
Don't forget to add lots of cheerful sound and music 🎵
Once you are happy with your animation, story or game, share your project in STEAM & Curious Scratch Studio . We will be happy to like it and share!
Share your project on social media with the hashtag #STEAMCuriousCalendar2020 and tag me with @steam.and.curious so we can all view your amazing work!
Makey-Makey bonus
If you happen to own a Makey-Makey board you can plug your events and sprite's actions to your Santa's letter paper version.
All you need is some paper, color pencils or paint, glue, tape and any conductive craft such as aluminum foil or wires.
